PREVALENCE OF RISK FACTORS OF ANKLE AND FOOT INJURY AMONGST FOOTBALL PLAYERS

Department of Sports Medicine & Physiotherapy, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar - Punjab - India.
Ankle and foot injuries constitute of about 10 - 15% of all sports related problems. Various factors including shoe, surface, training factors, previous injuries etc. have been implicated as the risk factors of these injuries. The present study intends to study the prevalence of ankle and foot injury and the association of various risk factors among football players. Sample consisted of 250 football players of age group 15 - 30 yrs. A Pre-structured questionnaire was administered to obtain the data.

Text of abstract (10 points tin) should be followed by a blank line after the department and affiliation.

Abstract area should be of 5” x 8” with a border.
»
All the abstracts must be followed by full length papers before 15th October 2009 .
